On January 12, 2010, DJ Matt Haines headed to southern York County for what ended up being an incredible wedding reception. What an amazing evening of fun and entertainment. They made Mixed Impressions job easy! We got this started with the party props and it filled the dance floor!

This was the “storm” that followed the “calm” of our couple having their first dance as husband and wife.

It was a wonderful “storm” of dancing, fellowship, and fun among two great families. It was a pleasure being there and having been part of this reception. It just didn’t want to end, in fact we did go longer into the night. At one point we had our bride and a few guests pause for a picture for the DJ.

22 years experience with all types of entertainment. I met with this couple about two weeks prior to the wedding and had a nice meeting and knew what they wanted out of their DJ and they knew what MIDJs would provide. It was a great time had by all and you can a lot more fun in the bundle of pictures I have below. Anyone looking, feel free to let us know what you thought!

The seniors of Penn Manor have a graduation party in the morning and then by 11:00 are invited to the Millersville Pool for a pool party. Although alittle on the chilly side this year on June 8th, the students still showed up and we even had some swimming. Along with that Mixed Impressions music we provided a couple of games. One was a little relay race with the changing of the clothes and it was the guys vs. the girls. Here you see a couple of guys in the process…

It was a fun time if nothing else to provide some nice relaxing background music to the students as they caught some rays and mingled with their fellow graduating classmates. Once again thanks Penn Manor it is always great coming back to my own alma mater!

On June 5, 2010 we traveled to the Four Points Sheraton in Harrisburg for the Graduation / Prom event for students of the PA Virtual Charter School from all over the state. Another state wide event that Mixed Impressions Disc Jockeys has the honor of entertaining. Now for the second year in a row.

They have a large graduation followed by a dinner and this year finishing with a Prom for the students instead of just a general dance. The event hosted some 800 plus people with family and friends and students. Its a very elegant event with a wide range of students from all walks of life.

MIDJs just goes in and plays a variety of music for all to enjoy through the night. We do not have pictures for this event, however some may be found at the PA Virtual CHarter School website. We look forward to next year!

Each year the St. Joseph’s School in Chester County makes a road trip up to the beautiful Willow Valley Resort for an 8th Grade Graduation Party. With all the snow this winter it was delayed till June 2nd this year. They come and swim, play games have a nice formal dinner and then….

DANCE!!! We even got the parents that came along into it. After dinner they let loose and DJ Matt Haines played all of today’s hottest dance and hip hop music and even threw in a few classic dance tunes. These kids had a good time. As a little extra bonus for years of entertaining this kids, we also handed out glow necklaces. It was a fun night.

ANother great year of Proms and it comes to the wonderful yearly finale, that is the Ephrata Prom. SOme of these students weren’t even born when Mixed Impressions started DJing their Prom! We lost count, but somewhere around 18 years running! What an awesome school, what an awesome group of kids. Just look they get into it!

We have not only made business relationships with faculty at Ephrata but personal ones as well. They have always been a great group to work with and for over the years. We always carry an awesome light show for the students and at atmosphere that keeps them going throughout the night.

Thank you Ephrata for another great year and we are certainly looking forward to 2010 - 2011.

On May 28th the other half of our big day was DJ Matt Haines entertaining at Hotel Hershey for the Hershey High School Prom. This is another great school we have had the pleasure of entertaining for many years now. They were entertained by our top Prom Package the Party Plus Package! As you see below, the party props are a big hit and a big part of the Party Plus Package. We provide a lot of fun crowd pleasers.

One piece of feedback we get from many of the faculty members of various proms we do is the fact that by the virtue of music we play, and props we can bring, we keep students late into the night at the prom. The picture below is late into the night and it is simply a sea of students.

Hershey, thanks for another big year and we are looking forward to Memorial Day weekend 2011, for another fun and exciting Prom. Check out some more pictures below.

On May 28th we had a huge day! It started at Willow Valley Resort with Octorara’s Prom. DJ Mark Haines rocked the house with the Intelligent Package Light Show Package. MIDJs have had the pleasure of entertaining for several years at Octorara’s events, including several years at the Prom as well as years at the Homecoming.

This is a great school and even better group of students. Although no pictures this year look next fall for some fun entertaining pictures. As we see, Octorara in Chester County is well within travesl for Mixed Impressions. We’ll see you all next year!

As was the case in 2009, Mixed Impressions was doubling up for the Penn Manor School District. We started the evening at both Manor Middle School for the 8th grade dance, and ended at The Lancaster Host Resort for Penn Manor High School’s Prom.

The Middle School has a nice 8th grade dance just for those students moving onto the high school. They get all dressed up and get their groove on. We formed our usual Dance Circle and they showed how they dance!

The Penn Manor School District, another school we have worked with quite a lot over the years. We have some more pictures below for the Manor Middle School dance that started this evening of May 21st off.

That was only the beginning. We had already set up and DJ Mark Haines got the party started at the Host for the PM High School Prom. What an awesome crowd! This too, ranked up there as one of the biggest Proms in Lancaster County this year. So Mixed Impressions’s DJ’s one of Lancaster’s biggest school DJs was there once again! The props were on order among the fun dance music as you see below.

This Prom annually ranks high for fun year in and year out. Just look at the sea of students living it up and partying all night long.

There seems to be no end in sight. MIDJS disc jokeys Matt & Mark Haines just brought the party to Penn Manor and they took to the dance floor and kept it going. Mind you the dance floor at the Host… the stage! What an event. Thank you Penn Manor for another great year! Let’s do it again in 2011. Check some more pictures below.

It is that time of year again for the York Suburban High School Prom! We have lost count on how many years we have had the pleasure of entertaining for the students at York Suburban. We certainly know it’s in the double digit years. Mixed Impressions must be doing something right! It was May 15, 2010 this year. As usual, these kids were having a good time.

As you can see we had the glow sticks out (wrapped around her head) and even the party props were in the budget again this year! What a great crowd of kids! They were dancing to fast and slow. We caught a couple below for a slow song.

Again in 2010 we were at Millersville Univeristy for the annual Army Heritage event which brings in Middle School and High School students from all over the state. The annual event attracts 100’s of students and for one evening during the week they let loose and have a dance for the students. This year it was Wednesday, May 12th.

Mixed Impressions has been honored to entertain this state wide function for these students. It is an absolute blast! We have the party dances and more going on in the big gymnasium at the Ville. Check out some pictures.
